    Hitting Milestones:

In the madness that is our daily routine, we almost missed the fact that we hit a massive massive milestone! It's a big one, we've hit 500 nights of curated live performances.

    *phew*

We're proud of this. We're so very proud of the fact that we've done this whilst sticking to our ideals, no bullshit, no pretense, just musical magic, and a strong focus on food and service.

We will be celebrating this milestone with musician friends this Sunday. It's going to be an awesome night, so clear your calendars and come in early (like
7 or 8 pm). We've also got a Chuck Berry tribute linedup this Sunday... sigh, Chuck Berry is gone :(

Along the way we've formed some incredible bonds, met incredible people (both patrons and artists), learnt valuable lessons about business, life and why the chicken crossed the road.

We're looking forward to learning more lessons as we work on the next 500 shows. We're slowly making a difference in the scene in just consistency and professionalism if nothing else, and those are good things to be known for.

I've constantly hinted at new things coming up in various newsletters. We recently launched our Events and Artist Management company. We're in discussion with various venues to bring our experience in event management and our unique style of working with artists to them. This is important because we all grow when the cultural scene grows. If you need to organize an event with some great music, give us a holler.

We need support. We need you to come in and listen to music, to react to it, to constantly interact with us and the artists. We can't do what we do without your part in it. We can't be a seed for cultural exposure without an audience to feed on that energy. The part that the audience has played at The Piano Man goes far beyond coming to a bar and getting a drink with some music. You give the artists hope, hope that they are indeed making a difference, that their message is being heard, that someone cares, and that someone is 10 feet away.

So please don't forget the importance of your role as a patron. It is imperative to facilitate the creation of Art!

    With love
    Arjun
