Soham Mallick
Hindustani Classical music at the age of 11 was Soham’s first step into music. 8 years ago, picking up the guitar lured him into rock and there has been no stopping since then. Having his own unique style, Soham says, “Everyone has a story to tell. My music is my story.”
Influenced by the classic Rock era , he became one of the founding members of You Turn and considers the band as his family.
Prateek Mukherjee
Starting in 2007 and going on to learn the guitar from the best in the country, Prateek is famous in the circuit for his work with String Theory, Tarkash, Qareeb and Nuur. Heavily inspired by the likes of BB King, Eric Clapton and Joe Satriani, Prateek belts out insane and unique guitar riffs and takes the energy of the band to another level
PS: His ringtone is and has been “Wonderful Tonight” since the past decade.
Salil Malhotra
Hailing from Lucknow, Salil is a mixed bag of Rock N’Roll and more. Deriving inspiration from the likes of Marcus Miller, Pino Palladino and Nathan East, Salil is known for his funky solos and groovy bass work for Moongphali. “The vibes and energy that this band puts into its music is more than evident on stage. We are the perfect recipe to bring the house down!” to quote Salil.
Naman Datta
He is a multi-genre drummer based out of New Delhi with roots in rock’n’roll, blues, funk and alternative rock. He has been playing in the Indian indie and commercial scene for the past 10 years with bands like Moongphali, Big Bang Blues, LostRadio, Jive Can, Rock & Billy, Winston Balman and YouTurn to name a few. His influences range from the Woodstock era, Beatles, Floyd to Nirvana, Range Against The Machine and Limp Bizkit
